Hi, I’m Melanie B. Jones — founder of MelFitness. I’m a personal trainer, coach, and someone who knows what it means to start over, face challenges head-on, and still choose to rise.
I moved to Northern Ireland at 18—still just a girl with big dreams and no safety net. Not long after, I became a mother, stepping into adulthood earlier than most. Raising two children on my own taught me grit, resilience, and the true meaning of strength. My journey into fitness wasn’t about the scales or compliments — it started the day I decided to back myself, even when life felt overwhelming.
That choice changed everything. I believed in the woman I hadn’t met yet — and that belief carried me through. Today, I run my own studio, built from the ground up, not just as a gym but as a supportive space where people come to feel stronger, more confident, and more like themselves again.
